Hard Work Built HES


HES Equipment has come a long way since we got our start in 1988. What began as a small family-owned business has grown into two locations, a yard full of iron, and a team of people who genuinely enjoy what they do. Through all that growth, we’ve worked hard to hold onto what got us here in the first place—taking care of our customers, treating people right, and never being afraid to get our hands dirty. Today, we’re proud to serve customers across West Michigan and beyond with equipment sales, rentals, parts, and service. And while a lot has changed over the years, our approach hasn’t—we work hard, stand behind what we do, and try to have a little fun along the way. We’re proud of where we’ve been, excited about where we’re headed, and thankful for the customers, employees, friends, and families who have been part of the HES story along the way.

A&B Farms/ HES Equipment became a legalized corporation, land was purchased, and a portable office was used as the headquarters.

November 1, 2016, Robert J. Geurink, a leader, father, and friend, passed away. He left a legacy of faith, hard work, friendship, kindness, and so much more. HES will continue to honor him, and the company he made, through all that is done.

Ten acres from the neighboring blueberry farm was bought to grow the HES site. There are now twenty acres of solid, yellow, iron, at HES!
